Customer Specialist

CarMax is hiring a full-time Customer Specialist to deliver a transparent, no-pressure car-buying experience. In this role, you'll greet customers, understand their needs, guide them through our inventory, and support test drives and financing options. You'll use CarMax tools and technology to provide accurate information, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth purchase or appraisal process. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, customer-focused experience on the sales floor and lot
• Assess customer needs and match them with suitable vehicles from Car
• Max's inventory
• Coordinate and support test drives, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies
• Explain pricing, warranties, vehicle history reports, and financing options clearly and transparently
• Use Car
• Max systems and digital tools to locate vehicles, present information, and manage customer records
• Prepare and process sales, appraisal, and financing paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with teammates across sales, service, and finance to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience

• Maintain product knowledge of vehicle features, inventory, and company processes through ongoing training
• Support store operations by helping with vehicle presentation, lot organization, and customer follow-up
