Role: Hotel Maintenance Project Manager

Location: Miami, FL - 4 days a week and remote on Friday (Travel is required to Ships, Shipyards and Dry Docks)

Type: 6 month contract to hire

Notes

• They ideally want:
  • Cruise line background (i.e. Carnival, NCL, MSC, or similar).
  • Drydock experience on the refurbishment side is a real advantage, as is a project management with design and architecture background.
  • This person can be a project coordinator or JR pm with 2+ years of experience
• This person is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of hotel maintenance, refurbishment and capital projects across the fleet of ships
• The PM works with shipboard teams, shoreside operations, contractors, shipyards, vendors, Supply Chain and technical specialists to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within scope and within approved budgets.

• Manage hotel refurbishment and maintenance projects from planning and scope development through execution and closeout.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, work packages and execution plans.
• Coordinate hotel projects performed during dry docks, revitalizations, modernization periods and in-service operations.
• Conduct and/or coordinate vessel condition surveys to identify maintenance and refurbishment requirements.
• Track project milestones, risks and outstanding technical issues and communicate status to Hotel Maintenance leadership.
