The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key player in the finance organization responsible for managing all major stations (Hubs) within the aviation portfolio as a leader. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership, the ability to effectively communicate to both finance employees and business leaders, and the ability to perform with accuracy and integrity while working on tight deadlines.  This position will be highly visible within the organization and will need to be self-sufficient in performing financial duties.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS

  • Will manage a portfolio of stations supporting various operational leaders
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting financial results on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Handle monthly analyses and reporting responsibilities including functional spend and impact of initiatives
  • Manages profit and loss statement during close period and can identify correcting entries
  • Gather and synthesize data across various parties and manage any un-uniformed data
  • Be able to multitask and work well with other in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • 5+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (Masters is a plus)
  • Exceptional high technical skills with a high-level proficiency in excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst
  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
