iOS + Android Lead

Experienced Mobile senior developer with strong hands-on expertise across both iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose), responsible for delivering high-quality mobile experiences for customers to import and use documents within Intuit products. Leads technical excellence across both platforms, mentors a small team/pod (including offshore/distributed engineers), and drives quality in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, production-grade apps on both iOS and Android — design, code, documentation.
• Translate designs into pixel-accurate mobile UI on both platforms.
• Lead architecture decisions and code reviews across the stack; catch correctness/design issues independently.
• Debug across platforms, unblock engineers, and make sound technical calls.
• Drive TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Mentor engineers, lead a small/distributed team, and collaborate cross-functionally to remove blockers.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on with both iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) — able to review code and guide engineers on both.
• 7+ years building web/software/mobile apps; quality of shipped work matters more than years.
• 2+ years with Kotlin and GraphQL.
• 3+ years in Software Design/Architecture.
• Proven experience leading a small team/pod, including offshore setups.
• Strong code review skills, REST/SOAP API experience, full SDLC ownership.
• TDD/unit testing experience; Agile/Scrum familiarity.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Current mobile frameworks (not legacy-only).
• Server-side development exposure.
