Full Stack Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our client’s engineering team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development and data management.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design, and performance optimization.
• Develop secure, highly available, and scalable applications following enterprise development standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and API testing.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5-6  years of software development experience with strong Full Stack development expertise.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
• Excellent experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
