The Role

• Produce comprehensive monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for key client contracts.
• Conduct thorough variance analysis and provide supporting commentaries in line with SLAs and deadlines.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to develop budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Deliver accurate and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making at contract level, including joint venture arrangements.
• Ensure proactive issue resolution and identify opportunities for process improvement through root cause analysis.
• Maintain open communication and build strong relationships with commercial teams to ensure alignment on financial performance and business objectives.

What You'll Need

• Qualified or studying towards ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Proven accounting experience, preferably within a commercial finance setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong understanding of accounting systems, legislation, and the regulatory framework.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and challenging existing processes.
