The Role

• Produce comprehensive monthly management accounts for key client contracts, including joint venture arrangements.
• Develop and analyse profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flows, providing insightful variance analysis and supporting commentaries.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring contract performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis and data at the contract level.
• Ensure meticulous adherence to financial controls, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing innovative solutions and process enhancements.

What You'll Need

• Qualified or studying towards ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Proven accounting experience, preferably within a commercial finance setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong understanding of accounting and reporting systems, relevant legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach to challenging existing processes and identifying improvements.
