Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Performance Engineer with 12+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling, Datadog, and Dynatrace, along with experience in API, web, and automation testing.

You will work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and similar tools.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for applications and microservices.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications, including unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Perform API performance testing using REST/JSON and SOAP.
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations.
• Monitor CPU, memory, I/O, network, and application performance during testing.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve application and infrastructure performance.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve performance testing frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Performance Engineering / Performance Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Experience with LoadRunner, K6, and/or Gatling.
• Front-end performance testing experience with Next.js applications.
• Experience designing and implementing performance test frameworks.
• Strong experience with API automation and performance testing – REST, SOAP.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with performance monitoring/APM tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of JVM monitoring, server logs, CPU, memory, I/O, and network metrics.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
