MVW - Universe Engineer

Role :: MVW - Universe Engineer

Location:: Remote

Required

1. 10+ years recent development experience specifically with the Universe Basic language

and Universe Multi-Value database.

1. Recent: They are actively developing in Universe Basic today and have been for

10+ years

1. Development experience means 80% of time actively adding new features /

capabilities vs break fix or small enhancements from production support issues

2. Experience with Integrations in/out a Universe system (ie: http, XML, RPC)
3. Demonstrated experience with learning a custom code base they didn t develop
4. Experience developing based on specifications developed by others and working in a

formal SDLC environment

Optional/Plus

1. (Plus) Experience in Hospitality / Vacation Ownership industry
2. (Plus) RocketSoftware MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS) experience. MVIS will be

new for MVW enabling REST APIs from our existing Universe Basic programs and data.

3. (Optional) Experience with other PICK Basic variants such as UniData, Pick D3, Reality,

OpenQM

4. (Optional) Experience using external logging platforms for troubleshooting - Splunk /

Dynatrace

Caveat

1. Individuals with prior MVW experience should be vetted with MVW early in the consideration

cycle.
