Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst to support the development of a centralized reporting environment and dashboard infrastructure. This role will consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources, transform disparate datasets into a standardized structure, and deliver actionable dashboards that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is skilled in Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and data transformation, with experience handling complex datasets from multiple stakeholders and systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Inventory and document existing internal and external reporting sources.
• Gather data from various sources including Excel files, SFTP connections, CSVs, PDFs, SharePoint lists, and API connections.
• Standardize inconsistent datasets into a common format and develop scalable processes for ongoing data ingestion.
• Clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources, and create standardized dimensions and hierarchies.
• Develop business logic, KPI calculations, and repeatable processes for data transformation.
• Establish a scalable data model and incorporate data-quality controls.
• Design and build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Automate recurring reporting processes and develop documentation for long-term sustainability.
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
• Communicate data limitations, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to the audience.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and publishing/refresh workflows.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills.
• Experience cleaning and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating executive-level reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL proficiency.
• Power Automate experience.
• Python experience for data manipulation or automation.
• Experience with eCommerce, sales, POS, distributor, or channel reporting.
• Experience working with customer/distribution datasets that vary in structure.Hybr
