Project Manager- IT Systems/Communication Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Communications Systems Engineer and a Project Manager to support the planning, design, integration, and delivery of communications systems for rail and transit infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the design, coordination, review, and implementation of communications systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead communications systems engineering activities throughout project planning, 
design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
● Develop and review communications systems designs, specifications, and technical 
documentation.
● Coordinate communications systems with systems engineering, electrical, civil, facilities, 
and architectural disciplines.
● Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, 
industry standards, and client specifications.
● Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and technical coordination meetings.
● Support systems integration, interface management, and operational readiness. ● 
Identify technical risks and recommend engineering solutions.
● Review contractor submittals and provide technical recommendations. ● 
Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of communications systems. ● 
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation.
Preferred Technical Experience

Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer 
Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
● 10+ years of professional communications systems engineering experience. ● 
Experience supporting rail, transit, transportation, or major infrastructure projects. ● 
Strong understanding of communications systems design, integration, and 
multidisciplinary coordination.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience supporting Light Rail Transit (LRT), Heavy Rail, Commuter Rail, or Bus 
Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.
● Experience with communications infrastructure for transportation systems. ● Knowledge 
of systems integration, interface management, and testing & commissioning. ● Experience 
working with public agencies, engineering consultants, or transportation infrastructure 
programs.
● Relevant communications/network certifications are desirable
