Guidewire Business Analyst

Hello,

We are currently looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to join our team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong P&C Insurance domain experience, hands-on knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, and experience working on data integration and insurance application interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Analyze and support PolicyCenter processes including submissions, underwriting, rating, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with technical teams on data integration between Guidewire and external applications.
• Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and web services.
• Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and analysis using SQL.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, integration teams, Product Owners, and business users.
• Support UAT, defect analysis, testing, and production implementation.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for development teams.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Experience with Guidewire data/integration projects.
• Good understanding of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, UAT, and SDLC.
• Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire DataHub.
• Knowledge of ETL, data mapping, downstream insurance systems, and data transformation.
• Guidewire certification is a plus.
