Senior Associate - Debt Capital Markets (Real Estate)

Overview

A prominent real estate investment and operating platform is seeking an experienced finance professional to support debt execution and capital raising initiatives across a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets. This individual will play a key role in securing financing for acquisitions, development projects, and existing investments while partnering with internal stakeholders and external capital providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead debt financing processes from initial lender outreach through closing.
• Analyze financing alternatives and recommend appropriate capital structures.
• Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and investment-related materials.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage lender requests throughout financing processes.
• Maintain relationships with banks, debt funds, insurance companies, and other capital sources.
• Partner with investment, asset management, and development teams on transaction execution.
• Monitor debt market activity, lending trends, and financing opportunities.
• Support refinancing initiatives and portfolio-wide capital planning efforts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, lending, capital markets, or investment-related roles.
• Experience executing debt transactions across multiple property types.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship management capabilities.
• Experience interacting with institutional capital providers and external advisors.
• High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
