Azure Architect

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and oversee scalable, secure, and highly available Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture, cloud migration, networking, security, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.

<>Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop cloud architecture aligned with business, security, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure including:
  • Azure Virtual Networks (VNet)
  • Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables
  • Azure Load Balancer / Application Gateway
  • Azure Firewall
  • Azure VPN Gateway / ExpressRoute
  • Azure Private Link / Private Endpoints
  • Azure DNS
• Design solutions using Azure services such as:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • AKS
  • App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure SQL Database
  • Cosmos DB
  • Azure Key Vault
• Lead on-premises to Azure cloud migrations, including assessment, planning, migration, and optimization.
• Implement Azure landing zones, subscriptions, management groups, governance, and resource organization.
• Develop cloud security architecture using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and security policies.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Perform architecture reviews and identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation guidelines.
• Collaborate with application, security, networking, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor cloud engineers and developers.

<>Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/cloud architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Strong understanding of Azure architecture and Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong Azure networking knowledge.
• Experience with Azure security and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD.
• Knowledge of containers and Docker/Kubernetes/AKS.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and logging.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
