Cloud Engineer II

Help design and improve the cloud environments that support critical applications and enterprise technology services. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll work across cloud architecture, infrastructure optimization, application integration, automation, and technical standards. You'll help connect multiple platforms and systems while making sure cloud solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges while staying connected to the larger architecture.

You'll have the opportunity to shape cloud standards, improve application performance, automate routine processes, and collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and support teams. The ideal candidate is technically curious, comfortable evaluating tradeoffs, and able to turn complex cloud requirements into practical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, architecture, or a related field
Experience designing and supporting web application environments in AWS
Experience with Linux administration and cloud-based infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or similar automation tools
Programming experience with Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or a similar language
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field-or equivalent experience

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience developing enterprise architecture standards and governance processes
Experience integrating platforms, operating systems, and applications across an organization
Knowledge of cloud application performance optimization
Experience evaluating infrastructure options, risks, costs, benefits, and business impact
Familiarity with software and hardware build standards
Experience working with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and technical support teams

Design, implement, and improve cloud applications and infrastructure
