IT Support Engineer

Talenza are partnering with a well-known family owned, multinational enterprise to find an IT Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support across applications and platforms, acting as the escalation point for issues requiring deeper investigation and root-cause analysis.

You'll work closely with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex problems, improve system performance, and build automation/integration solutions that reduce repetition and lift service quality. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, streamlining workflows, and delivering outstanding support.

• 3-5 years' experience in an IT systems analyst or IT support role, with proven experience supporting a large enterprise environment with complex systems, applications and a diverse user base.

• Strong experience with Google Workspace, including administration, configuration, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise users across Google applications and services.

• Experience supporting Google-based technology environments, including Google Workspace integrations, user access management, email and data migrations between organisations.

• Strong understanding of Windows, macOS and mobile operating systems, with experience supporting hardware, software, patching technologies and enterprise endpoint environments.

• Knowledge of scripting and automation, particularly PowerShell and Google Apps Script, with the ability to streamline workflows, improve integrations and automate repetitive support tasks.

• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, investigating root causes, managing escalations and identifying opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.

• Experience with enterprise application deployment, software distribution and endpoint management tools, ideally including VMware Workspace ONE, Automox and associated patch management technologies.

• Strong stakeholder communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using AI tools to improve productivity and streamline workflows; able to work collaboratively, adapt to change and deliver high-quality support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
