Job Description

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience, with a strong focus on Sustaining Engineering, Product Support, or Product Development.
  • Proven experience supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including design modifications, engineering changes, and continuous product improvement.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Mechanical Design and Engineering.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, including 3D modeling, assembly modeling, and engineering drawing/drafting.
  • Experience making engineering changes to existing products, including:
    • Updating Bill of Materials (BOMs)
    • Revising engineering drawings
    • Modifying 3D CAD models
    • Managing engineering revisions and documentation
  • Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and engineering change processes.
  • Strong understanding of Solid Mechanics and Structural Analysis.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer principles.
  • Understanding of threaded connections, materials, erosion, and secondary manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic sealing applications, including seal selection and application.
  • Understanding of mechanical dynamics and their application to product design and performance.
