Governance Analyst

🚨 Hiring: Governance Analyst – Indianapolis, IN 🚨
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: $40.75/hr on C2C/W2
We are looking for a Governance Analyst to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, including data stewardship, metadata management, data quality, centralized data sharing, access governance, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support data stewards with data dictionaries and stewardship initiatives
• Maintain metadata, Dataset Reference Sheets, and data quality rules
• Intake, triage, and coordinate centralized data requests
• Support data sharing, access governance, audit trails, and SLA tracking
• Draft and maintain data governance policies, SOPs, and decision records
• Develop and deliver data literacy, stewardship, and governance training
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, custodians, and program leaders
• Define KPIs and quality metrics and support continuous improvement
Required Skills:
• 2+ years of experience with Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog or similar tools
• Experience with data governance, stewardship, metadata, and data quality
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
• Project oversight and strategic priority alignment experience
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Highly Desired:
• Experience with data lineage tools and methodologies
• Understanding of the data analysis lifecycle in a business environment
