React Developer II

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented React Developer II to join our dynamic team at Flexon. This role involves designing and developing user interface components for JavaScript-based web applications using the React framework. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of responsive design principles and be proficient in front-end development with a focus on high-quality code and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborating with product management and design teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and fixing bugs
• Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly in React.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in React.js and its core principles
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or MobX)
• Understanding of Typescript and its integration with React
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience in working with client-server architectures.
