Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Desktop Developer to join a dynamic Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business intelligence and decision-making processes. This role requires an analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Optimize and maintain existing Tableau dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations.
• Stay updated with Tableau best practices and new features.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as a Tableau Desktop Developer.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and data visualization best practices.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data querying, and fundamentals of data modeling.
• Experience with data preparation and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.

Professional Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industry BI/Reporting toolsets including MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or Qlik.
• Experience with connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Netezza, Teradata, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Data Science integration and application (Python, R).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Trifecta, SSIS, or Informatica.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, APIs, Web Data Connectors, Tableau Extensions, JavaScript).
• Experience with Financial services data and large data volumes.
