Senior Data Modeler

Required Qualifications

•            6+ years of hands-on data modeling experience in enterprise data warehouse or large-scale analytics environments.

•            Advanced proficiency with Erwin Data Modeler or ER/Studio, including model templates, subject areas, and forward/reverse engineering.

•            Strong command of relational (3NF) and dimensional modeling techniques, including star/snowflake schemas and slowly changing dimensions.

•            Expert-level SQL across at least one enterprise warehouse platform such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, BigQuery, or Snowflake.

•            Experience producing metadata, source-to-target mappings, and data lineage documentation within a governance framework.

•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

•            Experience modeling for cloud data warehouse migrations, especially from Teradata or SQL Server to Google BigQuery.

•            Telecommunications domain knowledge (subscriber, network, billing, churn, or customer experience data).

•            Exposure to Data Vault 2.0, medallion architecture, or modeling semi-structured data (JSON, XML).

•            Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or a data management certification (e.g., CDMP).

•            Familiarity with NoSQL modeling and big data ecosystems such as Hadoop and Hive.
