Drainage Engineer

Based in Urmston, Greater Manchester, we provide drainage services across the North West, Staffordshire and West Yorkshire.<br />We’re looking for experienced Drainage Engineers with high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV experience to join our growing team.<br />You’ll respond to reactive drainage callouts, diagnose problems and deliver safe, efficient and high-quality solutions for our customers.<br />This is a hands-on role for an experienced Drainage Engineer who can work independently, take pride in doing the job properly and provide a professional service from arrival through to completion.<br />What you'll be doing

• Responding to reactive drainage callouts across our operating area
• Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues
• Carrying out HPWJ and CCTV drain surveys
• Working independently while coordinating effectively with colleagues when required
• Operating and maintaining company vehicles and specialist drainage equipment
• Completing accurate digital job reports using Joblogic
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues and partners
• Carrying out required vehicle, plant, tool and PPE checks and reporting defects promptly
• Working safely and in accordance with health and safety, inspection and compliance procedures
• Participating in our out-of-hours rota, with enhanced pay for out-of-hours work
• Accurately recording working time, overtime and out-of-hours activity
• Raising concerns where working hours, fatigue or workload could create a safety or wellbeing risk What we're looking for
• Experience carrying out HPWJ and CCTV drain surveys
• Minimum two years’ experience in drainage engineering
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A professional approach to customers and colleagues
• Good attention to detail when completing digital job reports and compliance checks
• A full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in the out-of-hours rota
• Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking the physical requirements of the role
• Right to work in the UK Due to the geographical area covered by the role and our existing Drainage Engineer locations, candidates based in North Greater Manchester, East Greater Manchester, South-East Greater Manchester, East Cheshire, Central Lancashire, or South Lancashire would be particularly well placed.<br />Why join us?
