Geotechnical Engineer Manchester £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits A well-established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer to join their Manchester team. The role would suit an experienced Graduate or Geotechnical Engineer looking to develop their career across a varied range of ground engineering projects.

The Role:

Undertake geotechnical assessments and interpret ground investigation data.<br />Produce factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.<br />Carry out slope stability, bearing capacity and settlement assessments.<br />Assist with foundation, retaining wall and earthworks design.<br />Review ground investigation information and develop ground models.<br />Support site investigations and liaise with contractors and clients.<br />Work alongside engineers across wider civil and infrastructure projects.The Candidate: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject.<br />Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy or ground engineering environment.<br />Good understanding of geotechnical principles and UK ground conditions.<br />Experience with geotechnical calculations and design software would be beneficial.<br />Strong report-writing and communication skills.<br />Working towards or interested in achieving Chartered status.What's on Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.<br />Hybrid working from a Manchester office.<br />Technical training and professional development.<br />Exposure to a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects.<br />Clear progression opportunities within a growing technical team
