Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

An exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking for their next step in an engineering consultancy, has presented itself in London. You'll be joining a team of geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists on a range of technically challenging projects around the South East. The position provides great opportunity for continued professional development and new responsibilities.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will receive:

The Geotechnical Engineers elected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include:

  • Carrying out Ground Investigations.
  • Factual and interpretive report writing.
  • Design of retaining walls, foundations and slope stability.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Ground movement assessments.

As a result, to be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position you should have previous experience in a similar geotechnical or geoenvironmental role, and have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc). Candidates should hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and live commutable to the London area.
