We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support the Florida State Department Client for technology initiatives. The consultant will lead multiple medium-to-high complexity IT projects, manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality, and stakeholder communications, and ensure compliance with Florida Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.

The Project Manager will work closely with WITS leadership, bureau leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors. Responsibilities include project planning and governance, executive status reporting, risk and issue management, change management, business analysis, requirements gathering, resource planning, quality management, and independent project oversight.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         7+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years managing complex cross-functional projects

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience

·         Project Management certification or successful completion of an industry-recognized project management curriculum

·         Strong knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies

·         Experience managing multiple complex IT projects involving different technologies and business/program areas

·         Strong experience with project governance, scope, schedule, budget, resource, risk, change, stakeholder, and quality management

·         Experience creating project charters, schedules, WBS, risk registers, communication plans, change requests, and status reports

·         Knowledge of SDLC and IT service management principles

·         Business analysis experience including requirements elicitation, process analysis/mapping, stakeholder interviews, workflow documentation, and validation

·         Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, vendor management, and stakeholder-management skills

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams

·         Experience with Florida Rule 60GG project governance is highly desirable
