Inside Sales Representative - Dental & Animal Health Distribution

Patterson is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to drive growth in our dental and animal health wholesale distribution business. In this phone and email-based role, you will manage an assigned territory, build relationships with healthcare practices, and promote a broad portfolio of products, equipment, software, and services. You will qualify leads, understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and close sales while leveraging CRM tools. Collaborating closely with field reps and internal teams, you'll support exceptional customer service, meet sales targets, and contribute to Patterson's culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to dental and animal health practices to promote Patterson's products and solutions
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and services
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure accurate, timely entry in CRM and ordering systems
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets
• Collaborate with field sales, marketing, and customer service to support account growth
• Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge to effectively position Patterson offerings
• Track opportunities, pipeline, and customer interactions using CRM tools
• Resolve customer issues promptly and coordinate with internal teams as needed
• Provide feedback from customers to support continuous improvement of products and services
