RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Angular) in Austin, TX.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) to support development on an internal platform. This role requires a highly capable engineer who can both execute hands-on development and clearly communicate technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications (front end + back end)
• Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring-based frameworks (Springboard platform)
• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement end-to-end feature delivery
• Clearly articulate technical decisions, approach, and outcomes to stakeholders
• Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers when needed
• Quickly evaluate technical challenges and propose effective solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer with full stack development expertise
• Strong problem-solving ability and technical evaluation skills
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Deep proficiency in:

• Java/Spring framework (backend)
• Angular (frontend)
• Ability to work across both front-end and back-end systems seamlessly

Demonstrated ability to:

• Communicate technical solutions clearly
• Explain approach, design, and execution effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or leading engineers (informal leadership is fine)
• Ability to quickly assess candidate or technical fit in fast-paced environments
• Experience working within secure or government-supported environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
