Job Title: Enterprise Network Systems Administrator
Location: Downey, CA – Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months 

 
Job Description:

  • Provide administration, troubleshooting, and support for complex, large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Work with Cisco enterprise or carrier-class routers, Cisco switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless controllers/access points, and Cisco Nexus switches.
  • Support enterprise network infrastructure in a large-scale 24/7 IT environment.
  • Utilize enterprise-level network monitoring and management tools to monitor network performance, availability, alerts, and incidents.
  • Work with monitoring tools such as OpenNMS, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Prime Collaboration, NetScout nGenius, Route Explorer, Elastic Search, SCOM, vROPS, SecureWorks, Dynatrace, Uptime Robot, IBM Tivoli, WebCTRL, CACTI, StruxureWare, and Cherwell.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across Windows Server, Linux Server, and IBM Mainframe z/OS environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues while maintaining reliable enterprise operations.
 Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing complex, large-scale network infrastructure devices, including Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless controllers/access points, and Cisco Nexus switches.
  • 2+ years of experience using enterprise-level network monitoring and management tools.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and IBM Mainframe z/OS operating systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Computer Science field preferred.
  • Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Must have certification in one or more of the following: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CCNP.
 Work Schedule / Location:
  • Position will follow a hybrid schedule after completion of 4–8 weeks of onsite training.
  • This is a 24/7 IT enterprise environment.
  • Candidate must be willing to work different shifts as required: Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or Swing: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or Graveyard: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (next day)
