Title: IT Project Manager – SAP ERP Implementation (Greenfield) | Lisle, IL | Contract

Location: Lisle, IL (Onsite Mon–Thu, Remote Fri). Local candidates or those in the West/NW/SW suburbs only.
Type: Contract, 40 hrs/week, through 12/31/2027 (extension possible)

About the role
A leading commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for an IT Project Manager to lead a large SAP ERP transformation. You will manage multiple IT projects, lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, and report to executive leadership.

What you will do

• Plan and run large-scale IT projects covering scope, schedule, budget and risks.
• Manage cutover and deployment planning for 50+ integrations.
• Manage the system integrator (SOW, scope, financials).
• Lead stakeholder communication and present program updates to executives.
• Drive change control and SDLC documentation, and track budget forecasts versus actuals.

Must have

• 8+ years of project/program management experience (6+ with a master's degree) and 2+ years of management experience
• Greenfield, non-SAP to SAP implementation experience, with a high number of RICEFW objects
• Direct ownership of budgets on large ERP programs
• Experience managing a system integrator against an SOW
• Strong MS Project skills (critical path) and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Agile delivery experience
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Nice to have

• PMP or PgMP, Agile certification (CSM, CSP), SAFe
• MBA
• Manufacturing or automotive experience
