IT Business Analyst (Software/Application/Community hub digital project)

Business Analyst

Role Description
The Business Analyst shall elicit, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements for Community Use Hub. District staff shall retain authority to approve business policies, requirements, priorities, and process changes.

Duties
1.Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and working sessions.
2.Document business requirements, functional specifications, workflows, use cases, business rules, and user stories.
3.Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
4.Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and support documentation.
5.Support prioritization, refinement, and management of requirements.
6.Collaborate with project managers, developers, and UI/UX designers.
7.Develop user-driven business scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
8.Support test planning and User Acceptance Testing activities.
9.Assist with training, communications, implementation, and change-management activities.
10.Facilitate meetings and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
1.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
2.Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting information technology, enterprise software, or business systems projects.
3.Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
4.Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, user stories, and requirements documentation.
5.Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and meetings.
6.Experience developing test scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria, and supporting User Acceptance Testing activities.
7.Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

8.Experience supporting software development, modernization, or implementation projects.
9.Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies preferred.
