Job Summary

Verizon is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and React.js. The developer will collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and distributed delivery teams to deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and related technologies.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Perform hands-on coding, debugging, testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams and resolve technical challenges.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Follow software development best practices for security, code quality, and testing.

• Contribute to AI chatbot and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) initiatives when applicable.

Must-Have Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack application development experience.

• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience.

• Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Strong React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.

• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and unit testing.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with onsite and offshore teams.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience implementing AI chatbots, RAG solutions, and LLM integrations.

• Exposure to Generative AI technologies.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.
