Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable, cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate will lead data engineering initiatives, architect enterprise-grade data solutions, mentor team members, and collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop batch and streaming data solutions.
• Optimize data processing, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Mentor and guide data engineering team members.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.

Required Skills

• Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer
• Programming: Python, SQL
• Big Data: Spark / PySpark
• Data Engineering: ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
• Data Management: Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
• DevOps: CI/CD and Git
• Experience developing both batch and streaming data pipelines
• Strong understanding of cloud-native data engineering architecture

Preferred Qualification

• Google Professional Data Engineer Certification
