SAP SD Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to support our client's SAP landscape within the Oil & Energy industry. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), including configuration, implementation, enhancements, and production support.

The consultant will work with cross-functional teams supporting an integrated SAP environment comprising SAP SD, SAP FICO, SAP PM, and SAP IS-OIL. The role requires expertise in order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, delivery management, and integration with financial and operational SAP modules.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to configure and implement SAP SD functionalities.
• Manage end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) processes, including sales order processing, delivery management, shipping, billing, and invoicing.
• Develop and maintain pricing procedures, condition techniques, output determination, and copy controls.
• Configure customer and material master data, business partner configurations, and account determination.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and SAP FICO, including credit management, revenue-related processes, and financial postings.
• Integrate SAP SD with SAP PM for service-related or maintenance-driven business processes.
• Understand and apply SAP IS-OIL processes and oil and gas industry business requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze business requirements, and implement functional solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, support testing, and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide production support.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.

<>Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working with SAP, with strong expertise in SAP SD.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP SD functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
• Experience with sales order processing, delivery management, shipping, billing, and invoicing.
• Expertise in pricing procedures, condition techniques, output determination, and copy controls.
• Experience with customer and material master data and business partner configurations.
• Knowledge of account determination and integration between SAP SD and SAP FICO.
• Experience with credit management, revenue-related processes, and financial postings.
• Understanding of integration between SAP SD and SAP PM, particularly for service-related or maintenance-driven business processes.
• Familiarity with SAP IS-OIL processes and oil and gas industry business requirements.

• Previous experience working with Oil & Gas or Energy industry clients.
• Experience supporting SAP in a complex, integrated enterprise landscape.

• Experience with SAP implementation projects, system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
