Job Description

Business Analyst – HEDIS | Mid-Level | W2

Location: Minnetonka, MN – 100% Remote
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Experience: 5–8 Years
Interview: Phone → Video
Employment: W2 Only
Visa: Any Visa Status Except H1B

We are looking for a mid-level Business Analyst with strong HEDIS and healthcare experience for a long-term remote opportunity with a leading healthcare organization.

Required Skills

  • 5–8 years of overall Business/Data Analysis experience
  • 3+ years of HEDIS experience
  • Strong knowledge of CMS/NCQA HEDIS Quality Measures
  • Strong healthcare/clinical data warehousing experience
  • 5+ years of SQL
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end HEDIS process
  • Experience analyzing datasets, defining data characteristics and data mappings
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and features
  • Experience writing transformation/business rules for technology consumption
  • Ability to work with technology teams during refinement and testing

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
  • Analyze healthcare datasets and identify data characteristics
  • Define data mappings and transformation rules
  • Translate requirements into features and prioritize them
  • Collaborate with technology teams during requirements refinement
  • Validate and test development output against business requirements
  • Support the end-to-end HEDIS quality measurement and reporting process
  • Work independently with business and technical stakeholders

Preferred

  • Medical coding experience
  • Clinical/healthcare data warehouse experience
  • Strong understanding of NCQA HEDIS reporting
  • Healthcare quality program experience
  • Government healthcare reporting experience
