Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Charles River Investment Management System (CR IMS/OMS) expertise to support investment management technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive Business Analysis experience and a strong understanding of asset management, portfolio management, trading, compliance, and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Support and enhance Charles River IMS/OMS modules, including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Trading, Compliance, and Rebalancing.
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end investment lifecycle processes.
• Support portfolio construction, order generation, trade execution, allocation, settlement, and reconciliation workflows.
• Configure and maintain pre-trade and post-trade compliance rules and investment guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and platform initiatives.
• Support integrations between Charles River and third-party platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, State Street Alpha, custodians, and market data providers.
• Perform data analysis, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Lead UAT activities, develop test cases, support defect resolution, and assist with successful production deployments.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and other BA documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong hands-on Charles River IMS / Charles River OMS experience.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management / Investment Management / Capital Markets.
• Understanding of portfolio management, trading workflows, compliance monitoring, and investment operations.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience with UAT and Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, State Street Alpha, or custodians.
• Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, and ETFs.
• Experience with regulatory/compliance reporting and investment data.
