Job Description

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst – Top Secret Required
GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ NSD – National Security Division
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop detailed process flows, use cases, and user stories to support system design and development.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during system implementation.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and test plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to development teams.
  • Identify and resolve business process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience with U.S. Government agencies, preferably within the Department of Justice or National Security Division.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and technologies, including databases, software development lifecycle, and system integration.
  • Experience with data modeling and requirements gathering tools.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and contracting processes.
