The Role

• Operate heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to load and unload shipping containers.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to daily logistics operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to pass a background verification, physical, and drug screening.
