Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid at Deloitte local offices

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Level Required for Primary Skill Expert (12+ years of US experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support an Architecture Enablement team focused on developing and operating enterprise architecture governance capabilities. This individual will primarily support the team s LeanIX Data Lake, helping bridge the technical development of the Data Lake with downstream data, reporting, visualization, and governance requirements.

The ideal candidate will combine strong data analysis capabilities with hands-on experience working in modern data platforms such as Databricks. This role requires someone comfortable working across data querying, dataset development and maintenance, data quality, validation, reporting, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing management, maintenance, and enhancement of data within the LeanIX Data Lake.
  • Develop and maintain datasets to support architecture governance, reporting, and analytical requirements.
  • Translate business and reporting requirements into data requirements, queries, and consumable datasets.
  • Query, analyze, and validate data using SQL and related querying technologies.
  • Work within Databricks to analyze and manage Data Lake information.
  • Perform data validation and testing to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across LeanIX and other applicable systems.
  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities to improve data quality and associated processes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and/or Databricks visualization capabilities.
  • Partner with technical development resources as new Data Lake functionality and enhancements are introduced.
  • Collaborate across the LeanIX Build and Run teams to ensure technical capabilities align with reporting and operational requirements.
  • Establish repeatable processes and practices for ongoing dataset maintenance and data quality management.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data analysis, data management, or a related data-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and querying large or complex datasets.
  • Experience working with Databricks or comparable modern cloud data platforms.
  • Understanding of Data Lake concepts, data structures, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience with data validation, testing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Experience developing reports and visualizations using Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Ability to translate business and reporting requirements into technical data requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical developers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience specifically with Databricks Data Lake environments.
  • Experience with LeanIX or enterprise architecture management platforms.
  • Experience supporting data governance or architecture governance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with PySpark or similar technologies used within Databricks environments.
  • Experience working within Agile/SDLC delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting a production or Run function responsible for ongoing data maintenance and operational quality.
