Job Description

ACCELQ Test Automation Development

•     Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites in ACCELQ that provide coverage for business, system, integration, and regression requirements

•     Design and maintain reusable ACCELQ automation assets, including actions, scenarios, contexts, and shared libraries, to support a scalable and sustainable automation framework

•     Develop automation solutions for web applications, APIs, database validation, and end-to-end workflow testing

•     Improve automation coverage and efficiency across feature coverage and product releases

•     Investigate, diagnose, and resolve automation failures through root cause analysis of test scripts, environments, integrations, and application defects, while implementing improvements to enhance automation stability, accuracy, and maintainability

•     Promote automation best practices utilizing ACCELQ

Software Development

•     Design, builds, tests, deploys, releases and supports a regulated SaaS-based solution as part of a team

•     Provides innovative solutions to help resolve customer needs

•     Strives for continuous improvement and supports continuous integration, continuous development and deployment pipelines to include using technical skills to code review, verify, and validate the software code developed

•     Participates in all phases of the solution lifecycle and works closely with a variety of internal, external business and technology partners.

•     Maintain traceability between software requirements, user stories, design artifacts, source code, test cases, defects, and release records in accordance with applicable quality system requirements

•     Evaluates system and component releases for impact to business processes

•     Collaborate with Agile teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and executable specifications and test scenarios using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles

•     Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other quality-focused engineering practices to improve software reliability, maintainability, and testability

 Qualifications Required

·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent

·         Three (3) years working in a SaaS-based product development environment of FDA-regulated medical device environment

·         Experience with programming languages Java, JavaScript and SQL

·         Experience utilizing frameworks and tools such as Angular, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes and Kafka

·         Experience in Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming is desirable

·         Experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions; experience with ACCELQ ideal

·         Experience using release management and ALM tools like Jira and Git/Gitlab

·         Experience participating in software requirements, design, development, testing and release activities

·         Experience and ability to work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in a remote working environment

·         Must be comfortable and experienced with formal documentation required by FDA-regulated software quality expectations and a regulated environment

·         Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
