About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a nationally recognized engineering and construction firm that is experiencing significant growth across its construction operations. With a strong pipeline of large-scale projects throughout Arkansas, the team is looking for experienced Senior Construction Project Managers to lead complex projects across water/wastewater, utilities, industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, data centers, and related construction sectors.

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, leading teams, managing client relationships, and driving successful project delivery from preconstruction through completion.

The ideal candidate brings a strong general contractor, design-build, or EPC background with experience managing large-scale construction projects, overseeing project financials, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost controls, and overall financial performance.
• Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement strategies, contract administration, and project resources.
• Partner with engineering, design, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage change orders, and resolve construction challenges.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular updates on project performance.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff while supporting the continued growth of the construction team.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, estimating, constructability reviews, and overall project strategy.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in construction, project management, or related project delivery roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale construction projects with responsibility for budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall execution.
• Background working for a general contractor, design-build contractor, EPC firm, or similar construction organization.
• Experience across water/wastewater, utilities, heavy civil, industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, data centers, or related construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, financial management, procurement, scheduling, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, manage client relationships, and make independent project decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Arkansas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing municipal water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water transmission systems, or industrial water infrastructure.
• Experience delivering complex industrial, utility, or mission-critical/data center construction projects.
• Familiarity with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), design-build, or EPC project delivery models.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or leading other Project Managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
