Connected Digital Strategist

Position Summary

The Connected Digital Strategist is accountable for the strategic roadmap and long-term planning of the app. This role is responsible for shaping the overall digital product strategy by identifying and aligning capabilities and features with business objectives, revenue opportunities, and the broader product vision. The Connected Digital Strategist partners closely with business stakeholders and app domain requirements engineers to translate strategic priorities into roadmap initiatives and ensure alignment across app domains. This position focuses on defining what capabilities should be delivered and why, while collaborating with partner teams responsible for intake, feasibility assessment, and detailed requirements development.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the app's strategic roadmap and long-term planning framework.

Define and evolve app strategy in alignment with business goals, customer needs, and revenue opportunities.

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize capabilities that support the desired product direction and business outcomes.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, market opportunities, and enterprise objectives.

Collaborate with app domain requirements engineers to translate strategic direction into roadmap initiatives.

Ensure alignment across app domains to support a cohesive and integrated product strategy.

Clearly articulate the business rationale, expected value, and intended outcomes of proposed capabilities.

Support cross-functional planning by maintaining focus on the strategic "what" and "why," while partnering with teams accountable for intake, feasibility, and detailed requirements.

Communicate roadmap direction, strategic intent, and prioritization decisions to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

Contribute to governance and planning discussions to ensure strategic consistency across initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience in product strategy, digital strategy, portfolio planning, or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of strategic planning, roadmap development, and capability prioritization.

Proven ability to align business objectives with product direction and delivery planning.

Experience working effectively with business leaders, product partners, and technical stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional audiences.

Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining alignment to long-term strategic objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in connected vehicle, digital platform, mobility, or enterprise application environments.

Familiarity with requirements development, solution delivery lifecycles, and agile product practices.

Experience driving alignment across multiple teams, domains, or organizational functions.
