SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) Technical Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) Technical Consultant to support a large-scale SAP Commerce migration and cloud transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading and executing full-cycle SAP Commerce (Hybris) migrations to SAP Commerce Cloud Version 2 (CCV2), including assessment, architecture, development, deployment, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product teams, and integration partners to ensure a seamless upgrade and cloud adoption journey while following SAP Commerce and CCV2 best practices. Experience with CCV2 upgrade initiatives is commonly associated with modernization activities such as platform upgrades, cloud readiness, security improvements, and integration modernization. Key Responsibilities

•     Lead end-to-end SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) migration and upgrade projects to CCV2.

•     Analyze existing SAP Commerce environments and define migration strategies.

•     Perform codebase remediation, extension refactoring, and cloud readiness assessments.

•     Configure and manage CCV2 environments, build pipelines, and deployment processes.

•     Upgrade SAP Commerce versions and validate compatibility of custom extensions and integrations.

•     Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, product, and business teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

•     Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

•     Support SIT, UAT, production cutover, and hypercare activities.

•     Develop technical design documents, migration runbooks, and deployment procedures.

•     Mentor development teams on SAP Commerce Cloud best practices and cloud-native development.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP Commerce Cloud

•     8+ years of SAP Commerce (Hybris) development experience.

•     3+ years of SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) experience.

•     Proven experience delivering at least one or more full-cycle SAP Commerce migration to CCV2.

•     Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture, extensions, OCC APIs, Backoffice, SmartEdit, and Catalog management.

Technical Expertise

•     Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.

•     SAP Commerce versions 1905/2005/2105/2205/2211 and migration paths.

•     REST APIs, Microservices, Integration APIs.

•     Solr/Search Services.

•     Database concepts and performance tuning.

•     Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Azure DevOps.

Cloud & DevOps

•     SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) deployment model.

•     CI/CD pipelines and release management.

•     Environment management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

•     Cloud-native architecture and containerized deployments.
