Job Description
Job : Senior Workday Functional Lead
We are seeking a Senior Workday Functional SME/Lead with 10+ years of Workday experience and strong expertise in Core HCM, Workday Security, and Talent/Recruiting. (This is a Techno-Functional Role. )
The ideal candidate will serve as a primary client-facing SME, working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide Workday recommendations, resolve functional issues, and support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Workday Functional SME for Core HCM, Security, Talent, and Recruiting modules.
- Work directly with client business teams and stakeholders on requirements, issues, and solutions.
- Provide Workday best-practice recommendations and functional guidance.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Lead and coordinate offshore Workday teams supporting ongoing operations.
- Manage operational support activities, issues, enhancements, and production problems.
- Serve as the liaison between the client/business teams and offshore delivery teams.
- Provide functional leadership and ensure timely resolution of Workday issues.
- Participate in client discussions, workshops, solution reviews, and status meetings.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process and Workday improvements.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Workday experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Workday Core HCM
- Workday Security
- Workday Talent / Recruiting
- Strong client-facing and consulting experience.
- Experience providing Workday recommendations as an SME.
- Experience managing or coordinating offshore teams.
- Strong understanding of Workday production/operational support.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively with client business teams
