About the role
We are looking for a Java Developer to design, build, test, and maintain reliable software applications. You will work with a team of developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality features and keep our systems running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and backend services
  • Build and consume REST APIs and microservices
  • Write clean, tested, well-documented code
  • Work with databases to store and retrieve data efficiently
  • Review code, find and fix bugs, and improve performance
  • Take part in Agile team activities (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews)
  • Work with other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Support deployments and help resolve production issues
Required skills (must-haves)
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • [3+] years of hands-on experience with Java (Java 8 or higher)
  • Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
  • Experience with Git and build tools (Maven or Gradle)
  • Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice-to-have skills
  • Hibernate / JPA
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Messaging tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Front-end basics (Angular, React, or JavaScript)
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
