Job Overview

DSS is seeking an experienced Software Tester / QA Analyst to support quality assurance initiatives for enterprise software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain test coverage reports and testing metrics.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Participate in release validation and quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Manual and Automation Testing.
• 5+ years of hands-on Automation Scripting.
• 4+ years of Jira.
• 4+ years of Xray.
• Experience with test case design and execution.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience performing regression and functional testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
• API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• SQL knowledge for backend validation.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
