Senior Operations Analyst (Macro Hedge Fund) – EXCLUSIVE ROLE - CassonX

To be considered for this role, CassonX is looking to identify someone who has covered a wide range of asset classes (equity, equity swaps, fixed income, OTC, ETD, Repo, FX, loans) from either a hedge fund / asset management or prime brokerage background – preference will be given to those with Equity and Corporate Actions knowledge. You will have exposure to all things trade lifecycles, from confirmation through to settlement (and investigations), plenty of appetite for reconciliations, asset servicing and post trade compliance. You will have experience of supporting and resolving ad hoc queries from Traders, understanding of MiFiD and EMIR transaction reporting, and ideally some supervisory skills to boast. Exposure to the Misys Sophis system, and any SQL or VBA skills is hugely beneficial, however, as this role sits with the Traders you must want a role that directly interacts and builds credibility with them.

This wide reaching role will see you join a small team, where you will provide assistance to the Head of Operations with maintaining controls and offering oversight of the department. The day to day will cover a lot of trade lifecycle middle- and back-office tasks, performing various daily reconciliations, resolving breaks with counterparties and prime brokers, affirmations, static data, P&L and some transaction reporting.
