The Role

• Define and champion cybersecurity principles, standards, and design patterns for secure product and enterprise tool development.
• Lead working groups to establish and drive cybersecurity guidelines across architecture teams.
• Develop and implement secure design patterns that engineering teams can readily adopt.
• Analyze potential information system security risks and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and scalable release processes.
• Engage with business and engineering teams to define guardrails for seamless adoption of secure design patterns.
• Participate in security incident response to identify and address design gaps.
• Research emerging security trends, threats, and technologies to recommend appropriate solutions.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in cybersecurity.
• Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services, as well as on-premises environments.
• Proven ability to articulate cybersecurity policies and procedures to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong consultative skills for navigating complex or controversial topics.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST) and relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of current technology architectures such as zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization.
• Experience utilizing Agile methodologies and deploying solutions in large enterprises.
