Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize database applications and solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL queries.
• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance and application issues.
• Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, and constraints.
• Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver database solutions.
• Perform data validation, migration, and reconciliation activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Follow database development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and complex query development.
• Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers.
• Experience with SQL/PLSQL performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of database design, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience with data migration and data validation.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with ETL/data integration tools.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with Oracle performance monitoring and tuning tools.
