Senior Cybersecurity Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Cloud Engineer to support cloud security, Microsoft security technologies, data protection, identity and access management, and emerging AI security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud security and cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop and maintain security architecture, controls, and best practices.
• Support data protection, data governance, and information security initiatives.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Support compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate emerging security risks associated with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate security requirements and recommendations.
• Support security automation and scripting where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security architecture.
• Strong experience with cloud security and Microsoft security technologies.
• Strong understanding of:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Security Architecture
  • Risk Assessment
  • Threat Modeling
  • Security Controls
  • Compliance Frameworks
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and AI security risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure Security.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with data security platforms such as Varonis.
• Knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO 42001, or similar AI governance frameworks.
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as financial services.
• Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or APIs.
