Job: Aladdin Platform Support Engineer – Front Office
Location: New York City, NY

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aladdin Platform Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience supporting BlackRock Aladdin and front-office investment management workflows. The ideal candidate will provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot critical issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure the stability and performance of the Aladdin platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for BlackRock Aladdin and related front-office applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to portfolio management, order management, trade execution, trade booking, and post-trade workflows.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with BlackRock, business users, and technology teams to resolve production incidents.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and analysis.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and support activities.
  • Participate in production releases, change management, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global support teams to maintain platform stability and meet service-level expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with portfolio managers, traders, investment operations, and technology stakeholders.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin Platform Support.
  • Experience supporting front-office investment management applications.
  • Strong understanding of asset management and the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with L2/L3 production support and incident management.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Python scripting experience for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Experience Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience supporting investment management or capital markets applications.
